DR Khali Williams
Osteopath and Director of BOC
Known for her warmth and caring nature, Khali joined Bayside Osteopathic Clinic in 2006 in ‘Tolmie Way” days after completing her Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Science at Victoria University. After overseeing the development of the satellite clinic at Mount Martha village, Khali then became a Partner in 2011 with founding Principal Osteopath Dr Brian Nicholls. On Brian’s retirement in 2020, Khali is delighted to now be in partnership with Dr Jade Cowan and is excited for the next phase of the business and continuing to develop and grow in practice and leadership.
Khali has experience in treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal complaints, using a structural treatment approach suitable for all ages, combined with a focus on exercise rehabilitation and prevention of further injury. Khali has a keen interest in lower back and pelvic pain, especially when experienced during and after pregnancy and in middle aged women. Khali also has considerable experience treating hip and shoulder problems and has a strong focus on providing exercise rehabilitation for these regions. She also has experience in treating infants and toddlers, using osteopathy to assist in the management of feeding and digestive problems and also to reduce muscular and joint strains arising from both the birth process and toddlers’ accidents.
Khali has undertaken several professional development seminars focused on pelvic and low back pain management and rehabilitation, and has completed the Dance Medicine Australia Clinical Pilates course (Level 1 and 2). On graduating, her Masters was presented at the International Conference on Advances in Osteopathic Research.
After growing up on the Peninsula, Khali is thrilled to be able to offer Osteopathy to her local community and to share her knowledge in injury management. Khali and her husband are proud parents to three young boys.
