
Osteopath
Areni completed her 5 year double degree in a Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University, graduating with distinction and receiving the Osteopathy Australia graduate prize for her year level.
As part of her undergraduate studies, Areni also spent some time in India where she undertook placement in an Orthopaedic hospital alongside other osteopaths, physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons. Being exposed to a diverse patient demographic and a plethora of conditions, she developed an interest in understanding the intricacies of disease pathology and the inherent healing capacity of the human body.
Areni is a keen Osteopath who enjoys treating patients of all ages and walks of life. She is interested in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints, as well as headaches and pregnancy related pain. She encourages patients to take an active role in their own health and does so by ensuring they are kept fully informed. She employs a variety of approaches to patient treatment and considers rehabilitative exercises to be a useful and effective adjunct to patient care.
Areni endeavours to offer each patient a broad based and caring approach to healing.
